Default Farming Areas

Vast areas designed specifically for farmers ...

Rather than discourage habitual farmers it might be prudent to regulate them (cf. prohibition and alcohol). I imagine regions of vast wilderness devoid of towns or resources ... but chock full of an inexaustable variety and supply of tough monsters.

The drops would be of high quality (e.g. good rares) BUT the frequency of drops is pretty low.

There are no quests in the Farming Areas.

There are all varieties of creatures - some would be particularly effective against specific classes. The idea would be that just about every profession is, theoretically, capable of soloing a small portion but unlikely (though not impossible) to solo the whole thing. This would offer clear advantages to groups over individuals - though both options remain viable.

Maybe entry fees would be required - making it not unlike FoW or UW - but the difference would be the absence of quests and a greater number and variety of enemies ....
